Bummer! With an ignition problem that I am unable to cure I sent "Jewel" off to my Corvette buddy and repair shop owner who I have nicknamed "Dr. Corvette." A forty-mile ride to Santa Fe for the old girl.
She should return home under her own power later this week.
Please tell me about "Dr. Corvette" and his shop. I've always been happy with Scotty's in Albuquerque, but it doesn't hurt to know about good people!
Ryan,
The shop is Alton Automotive, located at 1248 Calle de Comercio (471-1497) in Santa Fe. It is owned and operated by NCRS member Tim Alton. His cars are a '60 roadster and a '65 coupe. NCRS members (and others) often bring their 'Vettes up from Albuquerque for Tim's magic touch.
