What are the breakdown in production numbers of 1964 Corvettes that have silver leather seats and a dark blue dash? The car I am looking at has an all silver interior/ silver carpet with the dash being very dark blue. I was told this was very rare. I think the number of 64's with leather seats is around 1300+ but what about the color breakdown. Is that information available?
My red '64 came with a red dash, silver seats and door panels, and a mix of red and silver carpet. Kind of ugly but silver vinyl was cool to sit on in direct sunlight.
I dyed all the red stuff black in 1967, and the car now has tan '84 power leather seats.
That is a nice shot Sky65. The blue really contrast those white seats and door panels!!In the forums opinion how do some who claim certain statements like 1 of 12 made or only one known back them up. I suppose it is by their observations. JohnZ when did chevrolet start producing #'s built with a certian interior option? Any thoughts?

The seats and door panels on that car were actually silver. I guess just the way the shot was taken they look white.
I don't know how people substantiate claims of 1 of "whatever". I appreciate the rarity of these cars. Kinda neat historical information. But for me personally...driving the wheels off it is more fun.
GM never two toned early Corvette interiors to the best of my knowledge except the first couple of years. Also leather interiors in solid and two tones or more can be purchased for every year through Al Knoch Interiors.
My 64 coupe has the silver seats (vinyl), silver carpet and dark blue dash. Although at 44 years old the carpet looks more of a grayish tan these days. But not for long I just received my new silver carpet and pad from Wilcox along with new armrests. Silver leather seats covers are next. Door panels are in good shape.
I've never seen another with the same combo though.

How "early" do you mean? Probably C1? My 65 has a white and blue interior color code 450.
The trim code on this 64" is 899MG. Paint code is 940AA. I have asked the forum before about production #'s on interior combinations. If there are production #'s for the interior options is it not possible to determine the color combination #'s? Say for example how many were built with an 899MG interior code/940AA paint code? Just a thought. You guys have a wealth of knoweledge and I enjoy the discussions and am amazed at the information out there!!

The 899MG trim/ECL code says it's a coupe with power windows and a radio, without A/C or Powerglide, built after 3/25/64. As I indicated in post #2, no records were kept on interior trim option production numbers.
