I ordered a trailing arm bushing tool from Eckler's.When installing the bushing it needed to compress the rubber bushing so it could be flanged. As I was tighten the bolts and getting close to the correct point I notice that the plate on the tool was bending. When I ordered the tool it looked like the metal of a impact socket I think a harder steel. This tool was a yellow look to it (cheap I guess ) I called Ecklers and they were very good about .They are going to send me a new tool. I hope, but am not going to hold my breath that it will be any different. I will just be a little more carefull. Just another hoop to jump threw.
Update: I revesed the top plate on the tool and was able to get it straight.Being more careful and not putting to much pressure it worked.I got the bushing in with the correct flang. The bolt dose not bind so everything is good.If somebody needs this tool ( it is still usable) if you pay for shipping you could have it.....Vince
