1960Vette

Had to attend the funeral in Manassas, VA for a dear friend yesterday and some how the conversation with his cousin got around to old cars. Said he used to own #168 (got it from his Dad) and sold it around 1970 for $625. He had it advertised for $600, and two showed up that wanted the car. The high bid won out. He recently was contacted by the car's owner asking him questions about the previous owner that was shown on the title (his dad). Car has been restored and he was sent pictures. Car is in Silver Sping, MD. I never would have imagined that anyone there would have had any interest in Corvettes, let alone talk to some one who had owned a '53.
