Need Header Help
I have a 67 Pro Street roadster with a healthy 555 All Aluminum Brodix BBC. The Heads are Brodix Rectangular Port 2.25/1.88.
The car will have factory sidepipes but I'm having Spiral Turbo make a custom set of 3 or 3.5 inch sidepipes that will mate to the headers.
I had planned to buy the Hedman # 68216 headers that come off the engine and turn to the side to mate up to the sidepipes.
However, these headers are 1.75 inch primaries going into a 3 inch collector.
Since my exhaust dimension is 1.88 am I asking for trouble?
Are these headers too restrictive? Does any other header company make a larger primary style that will similarly mate up to C2 sidepipes?
