theres nothing that makes me feel better than to criuse in my car on a nice day. and thats the only reason i own one!!! i see in your profile that you have the same car as i do. triple black, 365hp, 4 spd. i've got the 4:11 rear.
those are about the only numbers i care about!!
Theres enough stress in my life without worrying about some of the gold chain guys who thankfully are a small part of this forum. My car has the 3.55 rear end and is kind of unusual as to options with power windows yet no power steering or brakes. My car left the factory as a FI car but someplace in the last 43 years it was replaced by a Holley. Wish I had it as its the only non-std.
You say that I'm putting a price on Randy's car without looking at it in person. How do you know that I have not seen this car "in person"?

Hey Bruce you care to answer this? It's interesting how quiet you have become on placing a price on this now...
These guys trashing the 64s are the same types that lift their eyebrows and cluck their false teeth when they look at a Vette they percieve not as perfect as theirs. They don't really like cars, their egos are tied up in a "mine is bigger than yours universe." While I feel sorry for them I also think they are destructive of the hobby, yes it is a hobby.
I don't see anywhere in this thread that anyone is "trashing 64's". No one ever said that the cars were not as nice. However there is a negative price associated with the 64's look at any pricing guide. Look at actual sale prices from auctions. Look anywhere you want but prices are generally less for a 64 than any other car.
If you have a 64 I'm not trying to insult you or your car. However the 64 will always be what it is. The pricing of midyears are as follows from what I've seen in the past 5 years. I'm sure that there are others out there with more experience. I'm sure the list will not be exactly right or complete..
