I recently purchased a '56 hardtop which had been disassembled for restoration. I think I have all the parts including new windows, weatherstripping, moldings and etc. Would like to see pictures of a top in various stages of assembly or even an assembled top. Can someone help me out or perhaps give me some tips on reassembling. Given enough time, I can probably get it together on my own but a little guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gerry
Gerry,
I have my '58 hardtop completely torn down for restoration. PM me if youd like some pictures. I've found the most help from advice on the board here and a series of scanned print articles found on glasswork's website. www.thehardtopshop.com. Search the archives for more information. Also the ST-12 and Assembly manual have some diagrams which help. Good luck.
