Default Wiper Refills ?????

Sorry guys.....everytime I ask a question, it seems like they get dumber!
Anyway, I got new refills and my blades polished up great. For some reason I can't seem to get them back in. I am afraid I'll tear up my original blades.
Can ya help

On my 62, I'm pretty sure the wiper refill included the stainless piece, and the whole affair snaps into the wiper arm with a special clip.

Do you have rubber blades that are completely separate from any stainless or aluminum portion?

Yeah...that's what is wierd. They just sent the rubber pieces only. My old ones slid off, but I can't figure out how to get them back. I always replaced the stainless steel part on my other vehicle as well.

Maybe they are a later design.

Do they have any form of metal insert on either end? If so you have to slide one end, and then the other, and it's a bit tricky. I think that's how my 65 was.

Can you post a picture of the rubber blades, and the metal holders?

I'm sorry, I'm not set up for that yet on my computer. Really Dinosaur!
You know, there is small black pieces on each end of the steel blade and I wondered if they were suppose to come off. There black.

Then I'm afraid I'm really out of ideas.

Maybe in time, someone who has the same parts as you will chime in.

Sorry again.
