Default Differential help

I have a problem I hope you guys can help me with.

My differential needed rebuilding, and after some research I sent it to Gary Ramadei (GTR 1999) to have it rebuilt. I understand he does the best work.
After I sent him my stuff, he rejected the diff case (and most of the other stuff I sent) because it was damaged by a ring gear bolt coming loose.
I bought a perfectly dated diff case from a Forum member, (Thanks BLee!) and had it sent directly to Gary.
Gary then rebuilt the diff in a short time frame with almost all new internals, sent a bunch of pics of what he did, and sent it back to me. He said it came out perfect. He sent it out DHL to me on March 5.

DHL lost the crate! Tracking # is 8874682655.

We have waited for DHL to find it, but no luck. Gary is very upset, and has offered to build a new one for me. I feel terrible about this. I know it wasn't his fault it got lost. He emailed me to ask about the vital details that I want on the diff case.

So I ask you, what are the details I am looking for considering the following:

1966 born July 20 1966
427 L72

I know the codes need to be AU,AZ,FA,FB,or FC for 3.36-4.56, for a posi 427, but I am not sure of the date. What is the span before build date for this car?

I thought 1 month was perfect.

Thanks in advance for info

Gerry

One month is fine. 4 to 12 weeks might be the "norm", but it's easily possible for the dates to fall outside that range, but not common That's why NCRS allows a 6 month "window". the difference between my differential and car build date is 8 days.
