Default limitor switch

Quick question. Does it matter how the wires go on the limitor switch as long as the color is the same on both switches? Can't get the motors to work. I have power at the switch inside the car but not getting reading on the yellow or dark green wires when I throw that switch.

Ahh. Those switches do not limit the headlight motor travel, they simply trigger the flashing LAMPS light on the dash to go off when both headlights are fully open.

I do not think it matters how those things are wired, but do find on my 65 that if one of those wires is not connected properly, the headlight motor won't move, which I've never understood.

If you have power to the rollover switch then the problem lies with the switch itself or the bulkhead connection on the yellow and green wires.

See if you get power out to the headlight motors. This will narrow it down.

The rollover switch is easy to disasemble and clean.

The gang connector on the rollover switch can also be a problem. It was on mine.

Ok Guys this is what I got. I have power up to the headlight motors. When I unpluged the passenger side to test for power the drivers side motor worked, but when I plug the passenger side up niether worked. I think their most be something wrong with the passenger side motor. Do you agree?
