67 convertible windshield replacement

67 convertible windshield replacement
Hello,
What do I need (parts) to replace the windshield. I called the autoglass speciallist and they only provide the windshield itself. No gasket or clips.
Can someone tell me what I needs. Clips, gasket?
how many of each kind and also what clips i need to reinstall the moulding.

I had mine done last fall. Much to my surprise, the installer was able to re-use all of the original parts. I was really surprised, especially with the gasket. I think that once he removed it, he soaked in some type of liquid before re-installing. Finished product looks great.

Use Original Gm Clips!
The good news is that replacement clips are still available from GM under part # 3904931, they work great and come in bags of four. A close friend who is the parts manager at a Chevrolet dealership looked them up for me when I needed to replace mine. These are correct for the vert lower and I believe they are the same for coupe. If I remember right you need 12 for a vert lower molding and a total of 24ish for coupe? Hope that helps.

The good news is that replacement clips are still available from GM under part # 3904931, they work great and come in bags of four. A close friend who is the parts manager at a Chevrolet dealership looked them up for me when I needed to replace mine. These are correct for the vert lower and I believe they are the same for coupe.
