Installed the bulb in the halo panel and the light works off the headlight switch & passenger door. The light will not illuminate when the driver's door is open. Have confirmed (not 100%) that the wire is attached to the door courtesy light switch.(pulled on the wire while actuating the plunger & seems to be tight)
From: Park City to SoCal - according to the map it's all down hill. No bad days in Indian Wells, California
Make sure the switch is operating when the door is open. It may be stuck in the off position. Try a drop of WD-40 on the switch plunger to make sure it is moving.
Also, these switches are somewhat adjustable - use the search function and there are a few posts on the correct way to adjust.

Any suggestions to remedy this issue?
I bought new switches from Paragon when I replaced my dash harness. It seems the old ones that I assume bubba had put did not work even when the wire was on and tight
These door buttons operate by completing the ground portion of the circuit and thus lighting the dome light and floor well lights. Be sure that you have a good clean contact to ground in the driver door jam button. If you have original buttons you can remove the button from the jam after disconnecting the wire. Carefully pull the center of the button out from the nut a bit. Reinstall and connect wire. Close the door on the button and that should be self adjusted. I replaced mine with Paragons buttons. They work fine now BUT they are not adjustable in this same manner. Hope this helps.
