fender emblems

needing some help with location of fender emblems on 65 conv. can anyone tell distance from body lines?

Just the regular crossed flags? Or a fuel injection emblem?

Took this picture a moment ago of what I believe to be a virgin fender on my 65.

The lowest part of the "V" in the crossed flags is 1.5" above the fender line, and 13.5" forward of the fender edge along the same line.

this will help me out greatly, Im going to go mark it out now and I will let you know how it go's

You are welcome. On my car, the emblem is effectively centered over the middle of the 3 fender vents (at least it looks that way to me). Then it's a simple matter of getting the height above the fender line worked out.
