Default Headlamp Alignment

Is this headlamp misalignment common or probably a sign of sloppy bodywork? I see it a lot on C2's. Thanks.

It appears to be the result of some misalignment when they were worked on. Also, look at the front left bumper position, sure looks a little off. I'd look closely at the whole undercarriage in that area to see what might be the result off some damage.

C2 headlights line up perfectly when properly installed and adjusted - in a no hit body that is

Yeah, that looks like a bit of poor bodywork on the nose, not a misalignment problem.

I see what may be a fat shim between the left bumper end and the front of the fender. Any shims go behind the glass. Looks to be some issues with the radiator support and/or the frame.

My 64 lined up perfectly after a few adjustments. This car looks like it may have taken a hit on the left side at some point and the repair may not have been aligned properly. Approach with caution, and look carefully. Open the hood and try to get a peak at the underside of the headlamp panel (use a small hand mirror) and look for evidence of a repair. Good luck, Pilot Dan

That silver Vette has a bad nose job, much like this car I took a pic of at a show. Also, the driver's door gap isn't to my liking

Thanks for all the great responses. I was concerned about the door gap also. The door looks like a different shade of gray.

I agree, that left one is pretty bad, but I dont agree with the last statement. They seldom ever lighned up perfectly from the factory. Most had a wide gap on the inside and a narrow on the outside.

for me the worst thing about that car is that it once was a DB over white, my all-time favorite C2 color combination

it looks to me that the bolt that holds the bumper to the outer portion is missing "you can see pavement" and causing it to sag
