Thanks
Mine is 68-C
Looks like mine came out of a 68
I took my post down, because it was wrong (I do recall the square boxed ink stamp on mine, but that isn't the date code, I don't think:
I have a vague recollection that it says something like 18 CT in that box, perhaps an inspection mark. The date is stamped (not ink stamped tho), as I now recall, in a two-digit format, and yes, a letter for the month
I bet yours was simply replaced in 1968, at the dealer, who used a 68-dated rad.

Yeah my date code is stamped into the radiator below the part number but I think you are probably still right about the date decipher.
2025 c3 ('68-'73) of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
The "16 CT" ink stamp was found on most mid year aluminum rads.
Your correct on the date stamping. This is "stamped" ( embossed ) into the top of the rad with year and month. Your 68-C is a 1968 March radiator. A= Jan, B= Feb......
The 3155316 was the part number for a small block, manual trans aluminum rad.
OK so I'm a little slow on the post button and I see that JohnZ addressed the date already.
