Default Sagging floor on 64 coupe

HI, I am a newbie with my first question. I have a 64 coupe, in which I recently installed an orginal shifter. While installing the shifter, I noticed that the driver's side floor was resting on the crossmember of the frame. An suggestions for lifting the floor? Thanks.

Lift it an inch or so and put a rubber donut between the floor and cross member. Seems this is a common problem as that is what I had to do also.

You need to fix the metal reinforcement panel that runs behind the seats as well as any cracks along the tunnel.

This is the steel luggage stop panel (hidden under the carpet); if the rivets have loosened or pulled out of the floor pan, it needs to be repaired - fairly common problem on midyears.
