odometer not working
I have a 66 coupe that the odometer isn't working....When I bought the car I took dash apart add new wiring...Car already had new gauges and notice it also had new odometer cluster installed. The odemeter I though worked when I purchashed the car, but when I reinstalled dash it never turned the miles or the trip odometer either. The Speedometer always works... I resently took dash apart again....looked at odometer, it's all clean, even re-lubed and inspected the little gears...all seems fine, but when installed will not turn the odometer at all. Does anyone have any ideas as to whats the problem....As I said , the speedometer works fine..... Mike

The first worm and magnet gear is stripped out. While you may have greased these, and they appear fine the teeth are gone and will not drive the second worm gear. I can fix this for you, it's not a problem. If you are interested call sales tomorrow at 800-588-3883.
