Default Decoding help

I'm trying to learn alittle more about my car. The body is 63, but I think that's about all that is 63. I'm pretty sure that the engine is a 69 350, 300hp. I need help with the trans and the differential.
Trans, number is 385753. The speedo cable is on the passenger side so I don't think it's from a 63.
Differential # is OBWO2LEI. I hope those numbers are correct. It was hard to read them. Any replies are greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, that number doesn't turn up in a Google search. It also seems to be one number too short.

Where on the tranny did you find that number?

Not 100% sure. I think it was on the passenger side. About three inches away, there was also GM. It's supposed to cool down in a few days. It's been beastly hot since Friday. Too hot to drive the car. Once it cools down, I'll try to see if I missed a number.

The 385753 is actually 3857584, which is the casting number for a '65-up tailhousing; the main case will also have a casting number on the same side, which will identify it.

Re-check the diff stamping after cleaning it up some more; the "OB" prefix wasn't used until 1976, but it could be "CB".

Thanks John, Assuming that the letters are CB. Does that mean 1965?

"CB" was used in '63-'64 for a 3.36 Posi. The casting date for the center section is on the driver's side, behind the front edge of the camber strut rod bracket.
