Default Bloomington Gold

I was just wondering how many C1 and C2 Vette people are going to Bloomington Gold this year. I have a booth space this year (first time) and I am selling some of my things that I have setting around plus taking my 66 up to sell also. But anyway if you are going I would like you to stop by my space and just say Hi and that you are a forum member, That way I can put a face with the names we use on the forum. Booth space P-111 hope to see you there.

Mike,

post a pic of your 66 for us.

What are you hoping it will bring?

Default I know of at least 4 forum members that will be there.

Can't say I know anyone that is shopping for another car right now, though.

If it's as hot as it was last year, we'll need plenty of cold ones at the swap space.....and also around the pool in the evening. I'm fired up and ready to go!!!!!!!!!

I am going to have some cold ones at the space and at the hotel and where ever else I go. Just look for my BIG MUG. By the time U and Woody get there the party will be in full swing.

Mike,

I have looked at that vette many times on that site. I wish you were closer, I would love to drive it.

I am in the market for a 66. Have been for a while, but still learning about them so as to avoid making the wrong purchase.

I will be at Carlisle again this year.

Good luck with the sale,

John

I've purchased several things from Bill although he would absolutely no idea who I was if I walked up and said hi. Fair prices, and even better, excellent advice. (you helped me a ton on '63 seat belts a few years ago Bill.)

I had a swap space at Bloomington for years and years, but my stuff sells so fast on ebay there's no reason for swaps anymore.

Anyway, I'll have my '58 at the GoldYear display FRI/SAT as long as it makes it all the way up there from Springfield.

I will be there as usual.I guess that I will be delivering a half a dozen '67 427 blocks that I am selling to one of the big engine restoration guys so the trailer should be full.I really looking forward to driving through the Chicago area traffic where you drive and then stop what it seems is every mile to pay more money and backup traffic

Thanks; I just enjoy the People and the cars. I haven't made any money in years but its the only show I go to and sell parts, I guess I am to old to change ,but its getting so expensive to be a vendor this may be my last year as a vendor. Hope to see ya there. Bill stop by for a beer..

Provette67, if you have enjoyed the traffic in the Chicago area over the years then you have a real treat ahead of you this year. ROAD CONSTRUCTION EVERYWHERE!! Allow more time this year unless you come through in the middle of the night.
Good Luck.

I'm planning on being there on Saturday, if I can get a room. I haven't gotten one yet.

John, too bad you are blowing out on Saturday. I was going to ask you some Camaro questions.

Anyone headed up Friday night from St. Louis area that wants to go together?

I'll be there with my dad, but we won't be bringing my 67, because it looks like this right now.....

Instead, we'll be in my dad's car. It's a little newer and has air.

Good Luck.

....just ONE more reason this will be the second year in a row I won't be attending. Move it back to Springfield, IL.
