Stainless Works
I wasn't happy with the way my exhaust on the '60 fit and after much thought decided that I needed assistance on it. I called Stainless Works over in Chagrin Falls about 80 miles from my house. Stainless Works (they advertise all the time in the various magazines) builds stainless steel exhausts and headers.
I dropped the car off on Monday afternoon not expecting to get it back until around the end of July. When I dropped it off, Ron Fuller the owner told me I may have hit it lucky as my exhaust pipes (2-1/2") was exactly the size that their bender was set up for.
I got a call yesterday telling me it was done and I could come and pick it up! WOW is all I could say. When I picked it up today Ron wasn't in, but the shop foreman helped me get my car and said "no one ever drops a car off like that and gets it back this quick, you must have hit it really lucky!"
Needless to say, the exhause looks much better and I am pleased.....sometimes it just pays to be lucky!
By the way, they have quite the set up there. Lots of machines for punching out SS, robotic cell for SS welding of headers and NC tube bending machine in addition to the shop next door for custom fit up of exhaust systems.
