2025 C8 Stingray of the Year Finalist - Unmodified

Block Origin

Looked at 63 with NOM. Block had 3892657 as a cast number which I believe is a 1966 327. Had HA stamped on the engine number pad. Any ideas of the block's origin? thanks

Charles, 3892657 Casting could be either a late '66 or a '67 327 block. Can't find HA Suffix for either year. Could it be HD? There are several suffixes beginning with 'H', including HD, HE, HH, HO, HP, HR AND HT. Hope this helps.

HA - 65 327 passenger car - 250 HP manual transmission
HA - 69 350 passenger car - 300 HP automatic

3892657 1967 302 290 2 Z28 Camaro
3892657 1966-67 327 210-350 2
Passenger/Chevelle/Corvette/Camaro
3892657 1967 350 295 2 Camaro

Post the casting date and we can narrow it down.
