accelerator pump question
my holley 4160 3310 has a white plastic cam forthe accelerator pump. the two holes are numbered # 1 and #2.
first-do the numbers face the middle of the engine or the outside or does it not matter??
second-the are three numbered holes on the accelerator linkage, #'s 1, 2 and 3, through which the screw goes into the the plastic cam. should the screw go through the #1 hole in the linkage through the #1 hole in the cam, or not. can i use the #1 hole in the linkage with the #2 hole in the cam??
finally-what is the effect of using the various cam holes??
i have a 1/2 second delay when i step on it before the carb really kicks in, and i assume that the shot of fuel is not sufficient. correct?? any suggested cures??
