Default Installing heater resistor question

I have my radio, clock and wiring harness in my 63. Have not installed the glove box or dash cluster. I now realize that my heater resistor connection on the heater box is broken. I really don't want to remove the heater box again.

Is it possible to install a resistor with the heater box installed? As you know, it is way out of sight on the front of the box. It looks impossible to me.

I am assuming that the resistor plugs into wires within the heater box.

There are no wires inside the heater box - the resistor just attaches with two hex-head screws, and pulls out in one piece - has coils on the other side exposed to airflow through the box to keep the resistance coils cool.

I had mine out just a short while back, no need to pull the heater housing. I know if I can get my big hand back there, you surely can, too!!!

But, you have to do it by feel, still not a difficult job! Best Wishes!!
