My '60 has non-original paint. The color is somewhere between brown and red. My plan is to repaint with a really nice red. Anyone have some ideas? Corvette torch red, victory red or how about Dodge Viper red. The Viper red appears about as red as a red can get to me.
The 61-62 Corvette Roman Red, is also a good bright red. I like the victory red too. I drive a 2007 Silverado that's Victory Red, that much red, on that much truck is tough to miss. The Corvette Torch Red is hard to beat, though. Any would be a good choice.
If you're going bc/cc and want the redest red, go to your automotive paint store and select their straight toner red, NO additives of other colors. They'll have about three reds so look at all to get the real red.
