Default 327 Block

I'm trying to identify a 327 block with a casting number of #3959512.
Can anyone help me to ID it?

Yes, it is a CE block or replacement chevrolet engine. Sometimes referred to as counter replacements, crate engines etc. It could have been a warranty replacement or across the counter purchase.

Thanks, That helps. It has no serial number-the pad is unmarked. So I don't know much about it like cam shaft, pistons, etc. Any ideas?
Thanks again for your help.

No idea what is inside, could be anything. What do the pistons look like, any heads on it?

The engine was built up with fuelie 2.02 heads, and solids. I don't know what cam is in it and don't what to take it apart to find out. When the lead was taken out of gas, I put 1.96 heads one it that were set up for unleaded gas. It's getting time to adjust valve clearance and am looking for advice on recommended clearance. Anyone have advice?

Anywhere from .018 and .022 to .030 and .030. Check and see where they are then go from there. When you are done it should sound like a finely tuned sewing machine(if that makes any sense). I love that sound !!
