Default Stuck Hood 62

Drivers side will not release but passengers side will. I am certain that someone out there knows the trick to get it to release. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

if you can put the car on a lift, and you have a lonnnnggg arm, you can probably reach up from underneath and push the latch lever rearward.

smart people (and i'm not one of them...) add an additional cable to each lever arm so that they can open the latches in case of a main cable failure.

That is not a bad idea.

With the stock exhuast, it is possible to get to teh latches from underneath, but with headers and other stuff now in my car, it could get very complex to reach from underneath.

A couple small cables, run thru the firwall and termianted with simple ring ends under the dash, could be a lifesaver.

That's exactly what I did. Then made it into a loop inside so there is something to grap on to.
