The last time I checked the website tracking outfit, Alexa, 93% of the web sites out there are faster than CF.

If this were a Trabant or Borgward place I could understand it. For a Corvette place, that kind of performance leaves something to be desired.

The CF response time that I've experienced lately with my broadband connection is worse than what I used to endure with dial-up.

Fortunately, there are other Corvette forums out there......

i'm on very fast broadband connection but on this site I might as well be back in 1986 on a 1200baud dialup modem for all the speed I get.

If this doesn't get fixed soon it's not worth the time to come here anymore.
ahh, back to 1986, and I was too cool with my newly upgraded 2400 baud modem, on Prodigy . . . .

Ya know, you'd think that, with the site now being owned by a big corporation, the IT support would have gotten even more professional, but it seems the current IT function at IB performs at a much lower standard than the old CF folks and volunteers

They're probably moving the servers to India.

That brought back memories. I remember my 1200 baud dial up modem. I also started out on Prodigy.

The current performance of CF reminds me of the "old days" on dial up.

I have a Comcast cable modem. Fast as a rocket, except here on CF, where half the time, I can't even "log on". Sad, and I've been "here" for 9 years.
