Default What spark plug #?....

Time for some new plugs for my 1966 - 327/300.
The last time I got some I had a hard time finding some that would fit.
I had to get some Champion small engine plugs. That's all the parts store showed for it.
What is available now that will work?

Default Spark plugs

AC R45S is the most popular plug for your engine.

No headers. Just the stock cast iron manifolds.
It is a Calif. A.I.R. car so I have the tubes coming out of the manifolds.

I went to the AC Delco website and they showed the R43 for 300 hp engines and the R45S for 250 and 275 hp engines.
What's the difference between the two?

AC R43 is too cool for street operation as it is a 3 heat range. R45S is a 5 heat range w. an extended electrode for better low speed anti fouling.
