I think they may make a spreader that mounts to the back as well? I think they offered it as an option in 64. option # 1234567894632. I think an NCRS person may be able to confirm this though?

Extent the front lower valance (body work) to plow the snow or add a snow blower up front ,I think that was a GM factory option or dealer option.

HOLY COW BUNS!!! where did you find that pic??? i used to go to their place and buy stuff from acme in the old days. they had moved from golden gate to an old time warehouse off of petrero ave (i think 16th st.) they had some wierd stuff, but lots of cool stuff. they sold a lot of stuff through car mags and a lot of our cars nowadays are probably wearing their stuff. they closed down/disappeared in the late 70s, but it was a super cool place to just walk through.

I have a sno-way for my truck. Each wing operates independently so you can angle either way or angle both back for a vee plow or angle both forward for a scoop, you can get either a joy stick or a keypad control. Works great. As for a mount, you'll have to modify what ever you purchase to fit your frame. That will be quite a sight going down the road.

Here's the C3 version of the 4-wheel drive snow plow
This was nicely done for what it is

Hey Buns, that 62 "snorkle option" looks all too familiar to me. The 62 I had in 1970 had that conversion (based on the 58 XP700 design).
I didn't especially like it, but it's what $900 would buy.....and that's all I had to spend.

Snow plow-wise, just put 13-inch tires and low-profile rubber on the front, and you're there!

I have several old Hot Rod mags with that ad in them.

I too remember Acme. I bought some fiberglass parts from them, and they once put a one-piece nose on a midyear for me. Their shop was a bit grubby, but there was lots of stuff to see.
