Default Corvette Central

I am having trouble getting anyone at Corvette Central to answer my emails. I have always been happy with their service in the past but they refuse to answer my emails about an order I placed on 27th October that hasn't been shipped yet. I have emailed them twice and have had no response. Anybody else having any problems?

I quit using them about 2 yrs ago.
Same thing," yea-we have it in stock."
Place the order....... and wait.
Oct? your parts are out of stock.
I have had good luck with Paragon, they replaced CC
at my house. CC used to be the best! IMHO, But now they, well.... :U
Lic's is good also, but their catalog is hard to read (for me) and their prices see a tad higher. But they do have those hard to get parts!
Zip is very quick also. But Paragon gets my vote today.
I would cancel my order with CC and give them a call.
Also, Paragon makes lots of the parts everyone else sells.

JDOUYER,

Like many on this forum, I was reluctant to use CC again after the debarcle when they were re-locating but as they sent me a discount voucher after that time I decided to use them again for a small order to see if they had picked up their game.

The parcel was sent without problem as have subsequent orders so I am again buying from them as well as a few other vendors but, I have found it almost useless to use e-mail as it usually takes a couple of weeks to get a reply so I have found that calling direct has had much better results.

I now call and ask if the items ordered are in stock or if they will be on backorder. If told that they are on back order then I don't order, and check the other vendors.

So my advise is to do as I, deal direct by phone and don't order if not in stock.

Forget on-line and e-mail cause you can't win an argument with a computer!

Good Luck, Mark.

Hey John,

I didn't notice that you were another Aussie C-1 owner, and in the same state!

We're a rare breed.

Catch ya again!

I used them a fair amount in the past but finally gave up. Must have asked 2 or 3 times for a new catalog that never came. Just will NOT beg a company to help me so I can spend money doing business with them. ZIP has been great and has gotten all my business since CC pissed me off.

I had the same trouble with the CC guys. I ended up finally sending them a letter on my lawyers stationary to cancel the order and have my money refunded. even that took longer than it should. It turned out I had a good corvette parts dealer local to cincy, so now I get to see what im buying.

Well, I hadn't ordered anything from them for about 2 years, but combined an order just after Christmas....not certain why...I guess their catalog was just lying around at the time of my impulse. At the same time, I put in a different order from LIC for different stuff. I got the LIC stuff two days ago....all intact, as usual from those folks. Today, I received 30% of the CC order....the remainder being backordered.... :U Oh well, I should have known. At least, they only charged me for what they sent. Nothing is time-critical, so I will wait a couple of weeks before canceling. I gots to take responsibility for my own stupid actions!! If it doesn't come within two weeks, that will be forever it for that bunch. :yesnod:

I wonder if any of these parts houses have anyone checking into these forums????? If not; they most certainly should!

Do what I did several times...
E-mail them and tell them what's being said on the net.
They have a contact e-mail address on their site
They sent me several messages explaining their problem. This was during their move.. I didn't even have a pending order with them at the time.
I thought that all was well with them now, but from what is being said here, I guess not..

Too bad they used to be better about shipping on time, and I was usually pleased with what they sent.

I was about to order quite a few items maybe I should look elsewhere.

Maybe if we all send them a little "Heat" they will get the message and clean up their act..
Can't hurt, the net is a very powerful tool

Tony

The scale models of the 283, 427,and LS1 engines. And the scale model of the 327 w/Rochester injection. I'm going to play with them tonight.
