electrical problem
history: the car is a 1962 , i have been working on getting it back together for about 6 months. it drives great.
i have changed all the wires.
today i connected the rear harness,
the tail lights work - no problem
the flashers work - no problem
the flasher lights in the speedometer work - no problem
Then i connected the head lights (which were rewired) to the main harness
when i connected the battery and turned on the lights they worked when i clicked the high beam switch (not new) it worked.
now here is the problem i started to smell burning and believe it was coming from under the instrument cluster...
any reason why when connecting the head lights may cause over load
the head lights are not T3 they are replacement form ecklers
any help would greatly appreciated
