I got to agree, especially, ESPECIALLY, ESPECIALLY if it is a genuine Corvette tach drive generator. When properly rebuilt, with a good voltage regulator, good wiring and well grounded, and no more current than what is required by an early Vette without air cond, the generator is MORE than adequate for supplying all of the elec requirements of an early Vette.

with devildog, I still have the original generator in my 59, just put brushes in it two years ago, it has never failed so far
