Default hardtop plexiglass

I'm coming down the home stretch of a hardtop restoration project. I made a decision to replace the plexiglass. Can anyone suggest/recommend where to get a replacement window. I usually buy from LIC but I didn't see where they offer the window.

thanks,

Try Glassworks or Auto Entech. I have had great luck with Glassworks for my hardtop needs.

I used Glassworks to get my hardtop glass and headliner. Both were top notch..

I mounted my hard top in the garage. I brought it home from the body shop refinished when I had the body off. I sent all the s/s out to be polished and cleaned and/or plated the smaller parts, not the latches. I stripped all the above before I sent it out.

Plexiglas's is toast as the saying goes. By the time I buy the glass, seals, new latch, hdwe. kit, and head liner, I'm probably looking at another $1000.00 for something I'll put back on the garage wall.

I guess the answer is, what does one want to accomplish.

Not trying to take away our friends thread here but nobody said what they paid. I think, I've seen prices in the $400.00 range.

They are OE with Plexiglas. Never heard of glass for the hard tops.

I've never seen a glass hardtop window. Not saying that someone could have done it but I believe that they all left GM with a Plexi-glass window. Dave

Just looked and code on all 3 windowsin Hardtop are AS 4 4-60. Looks like a got a 1960 hardtop for the 59. The more I learn about these matching or my case, not matching # game, the more pissed off I get. Also, it is plexiglass, sure looks like the real deal. Never go to Carlisle to purchase a #'s car with a pocket full of money and a head empty with info.
