Been a year since I hit the deer but she's back. It took 4 months to get a new front clip and 10 months to find a qualified bodyman. In 30 minutes I'm headed to a local cruise-in. Really looking forwarded to it. Thanks to all of you who offered help and encouragement. Bill

Holy crap Bill, did the deer continue to chew on the fibreglass before he/she passed on ? The after photos are great, terrific job and I am glad that you jumped on it and got her back on the road in a timely fashion !

Good for you.....

Bambi's are cute and everything, but they can cause havoc in many ways. A relative of mine barely escaped death several years ago when the car in front of him hit a doe, which flew over the top of that car and into the windshield of my relative's '66 Shelby Mustang Clone.

Then I contracted Lyme Disease a couple of years ago while living in a northern state. A terrible illness that I would not wish upon some of my worst enemies. The scary thing is, you can be cured of that Deer-Tick borne disease, go right back outside and get bitten again.

But back to your Vette......looking good.

Hi Bill,
I'm glad to finally see some pictures of the final finished product. Glad to see that shop got the front end installed for you.

As special thanks to you Scott. I know I asked too many questions but you were patient and helped me through the rough spots. I owe you, buddy. Bill

Hey Bill,

Looks great! Summer nights in Somerset next weekend (26 & 27) is the Corvette weekend. We'll be there on Saturday in the 78. Hope to see you there if you get a chance.
