Holley carb list 3367 rebuild
I have a Holley carb off a 1966 327/300. It is a 3367. I'm going to have a mechanic rebuild it. What carb kit would you recommend and where can I purchase it.
Thanks in advance.

In the early 70's we had a business rebuilding carbs. We found it always best to use the manufacturer's own knits in a rebuild. Also, as stated above, always check for warpage, not only betueen the throttle plate and body, but also for the fuel bowls themselves and the metering bodies.

Other comments ?? Buy the reusable non-stick gaskets. Holley makes a "blue" one as well as their "black" burma (buma ??) gaskets. It makes life so much easier down the road when you mess with jets and/or replace your power valve. I just changed the power valve in an original "never been touched" Holley #3310 (15 plus years old) and spent most of my time scraping old gasket off the metering block and fuel bowl after I spent an eternity seperating them from each other. Just my 2 cents...............

I use non stick gaskets on my race cars carb. Good idea. Anyone have Holley part # for the 3367 carb kit. Or where I can obtain that info?

Holley 3367 Rebuild
Okay, I've seen several encouragements to check for warpage on carburetor surfaces, but no recommendations if warpage is observed. Can the surface(s) be 'trued' or is it time for new components, or carb?

Rebuilding a carb is not hard. It is really just taking the carb apart, replacing a few parts that come in a kit, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, scraping all gasket off, and putting it back together.

If only a slight warp, you can use wet/dry sandpaper and a (flat) glass surface.

To be REALLY sure you are getting a good running carb, it would be best to have someone like Lars rebuild it. He puts the carb on a test engine and test runs it before he ships it back to the customer.
