The guy I bought the 54 from as some of you know also has a nice 55 F**D vert in his garage he's keeping for now. He also has a beautiful 55 chev vert which he gave to his daughter years ago. Just prior to giving it away he put a rebuilt 283 in it. Sitting in the corner of his garage is the original complete 265. Was smoking when removed. Complete pan to intake. He just called and said to come up with a figure and come get it. What do you guys think?
Depends on the actual numbers on the block. If its a car block it will be F55F or T55F. If its a Corvette block it has a F55FG stamp is is one of 700 55 corvette blocks and could be a little more desireable. Worth a check.
