Default Available Options Source

I've seen the list of options available for various years of C2's, but I know not all options were available with all engine/transmission combinations, for example.

Does anybody know of a good source stating which options were available with which combinations?? Noland's books?

Yep, I know both of these sources list the available options for various years, and have various engine/transmission/differential options listed. But, as an example of what I'm referring to, they don't show you that power steering was not an available option on the 1963 327/340 hp engine. I'm not sure if Noland's book does or not (haven't looked, to be perfectly honest). But I'm wondering if there's a table or something similar that shows for example what options could be included or were excluded as a choice if you ordered, for example, a particular engine/transmission option.

Were all available differential ratios available with any engine/transmission combination, for example?? I would think the NCRS judging manuals for one source would clue you in as to a car that had an option on it that didn't belong. Just looking for another simpler source if there is one.

In Noland's book, in the Option section for each year, each option has an ECL table at the beginning that usually tells you if the option had any restrictions or what combinations it was available with. That's about the only source you'll find for availability combinations.

Thanks John, that's gonna be about what I was looking for, I believe. I'm sure the dealers also had some sort of an order sheet which would exclude or include certain options depending upon what the buyer wanted to order, but I've not seen one. Thanks to avideo and Nowhere Man, too. Appreciate it guys!!

The dealer ordering information/price sheets did include restrictions - that package is included with the free "GM Restoration Package" that's available from (800) 222-1020; they'll want the year of your car and your VIN when you call.
