A Shocking Question
I'm looking for a set of shocks for a C1 that will give the softest ride. Not looking for a performance shock. It's only a weekend cruiser. Any recommendations. Gabriel lists a classic shock for C1's. Also Kanter list a "PleasureRide" shock for C1's. Anyone familar with either of these products?

Gabriel use to make the "Striders" which were 3 way adjustable (had them on my 70 Vette for 100k+ miles, and are also on my 62). I doubt that they still make them, but if you can find a set, you would be very pleased. The softest setting is probably what you are looking for, but as they wear, you can crank them to the next setting.

I sell Gabriel in my parts store. I have a set in stock for a C-1. They are the softest shock of the Gabriel line and should give you the best ride. By the way, as far as Monroe is concerned, they stoped honoring lifetime warranties. They only give you 30 days on the entire line except the new Reflex.
