Default Am I correct?

These are the numbers on my block. I used on line resources to verify everyhing. I am no expert but it may have been a Chevelle motor?
Thanks Greg

T083IEE = Tonawanda Aug 31 New York 327 4 barrel Auto

H227 = Aug 22 1967

3914660 = 327 275hp L30 car

3914660 is a 68 327, 2 bolt main block. I had a 68 327 three speed car, very strange option, but I never paid much attention to the block, just drove the wheels of the thing

I found some more data;
3914660 327 68-69 Pass,Chevelle,Camro, Nova,Truck
3914678 327 68 Corvette 300,350 HP lrg journal 2 bolt main

The EE code used for a '68 model year car narrows it down to only one choice:

327 cu in. Powerglide 275hp 4bbl A or X body

Default timing.

I have the same block in my 61, have q-jet rochester carb, and having problems with overheating, I suspect its a timing and/or running too lean issue and was wondering whats the optimal timing for that blcok any help is much appreciated. cheers

Default Overheating

I will check my records for you. I am running electronic ignition with a new carb. I am running a 180 thermostat and stock radiator. I have never had a problem with overheating. Prior to the ignition and carb change I was running a dual point with a Quadrajet carb. This configuration also ran normal as far as temp was concerned. Probably not much help but I wanted to respond anyway. Greg
