Harmonic Balancer Problem
Noticed a slight wobble in balancer at idle. Can't say if outer ring is loose,or center hub not mounted properly on crankshaft. Car does have vibration at higher speeds. Also revving in neutral. Age of balancer unknown. New 350 crate engine in 1977. Don't know if balancer came with, or was transferred from old engine. Any insight on replacement dampener in the range of $75.00 ? Would like built-in degree markings up to 50. Cruiser car. Occasional burst to 6000 RPM

You will be damn lucky if the crank is not cracked.
Do not rev it up at all with wobbling balancer. Ask me how I know??
Dont be driving it with balancer wobbling either

The wobble is minimal, probably an 1/8 or less, but it does'nt look right !
Did you say you had damage from a bad dampener? What were the symptoms ?
