I had an acident with my 61'. Since its already a resto-rod, I thought a57' nose would be cool. Does anybody know if it fits? I know there is a difference of 8" in overall lengths, but is it in the rear or front? Wheelbase on both is the same. Help!

the fiberglass may fit but you will have problems with fitting the hood.

personally, i think the 57 front with the 61 'ducktail' rear would look strange

Yes. It can be done IF you use the entire frontend. If you want to retain the 61 dash, you'll have to splice the front end at the hood ledge area. You'll need to modify the upper cowl ends a bit also. Very easy to do. 53-57 style inner fenders, radiator panels and hood would be needed. Also 53-57 hood hinges.

You'll probably save money putting it back stock, IMO.

Good luck with whatever you do.
