Undercoating question for a C2
Do you recommend that I reapply the undercoating to the body when it comes time to repaint??? There is a gummy coating in some areas of the car such as the wells and engine compartment. Its a hot rod so I can deviate a bit from stock. Would it be better to just paint the underside black, or reapply the protective coating???

you only need a little bit on the wheel wells to protect the paint on the outside. there is no need for any on any other part of the car.

The only spots I would re-undercoat are the wheel wells. No sense in undercoating the bottom of your car or the engine compartment. Two or three cans of the 3M or SEM will get the job done.
