Need view of all parts. Small round spring cant find its home
Errrr OK your forum name indicates you are a C2 guy but your profile page has a C1 dash picture. WCFBs are Carter carbs and 2818 are Holleys. Which one do you need ?
Here is a WCFB BTW if that is what you wanted (click on "Exploded View" in the left hand panel on this web page):

IF its a WCFB there is a small spring that goes in the carb body under the vacuum plunger controlling the metering rods. There is another larger spring under the accelerator plunger - they are the same length or very close to it.
One of the best sections for servicing the early WCFB's is the little Chilton's 53-62 Corvette servicing guide (a small yellow hard cover book). These have been out of print for a long time and are not cheap, but they have lots of info the ST-12 does not. If you can borrow one, check out page 34, which has an excellent exploded view of ALL the parts you are asking about. If you can't find one, PM me a fax number and I will make copies of the pages for you. Pilot Dan
Sorry, I meant a WCFB. I have 3 C1s and 1 C2. The 67 was the first when I signed up. Wish I could cover all for a screen name but Im not cleaver enough to think of one. I didnt know Holley had a 2818. Learn somthing new every day.
