Yeah, I know this is a very old thread but am going to give it a try anyway.


Went to the decoder and entered my trim number but the ECL dropdown list didn't have my ECL listed.


1967 Roadster with 455 Trim and ECL of BE.


So, is the missing BE listing an actual discrepancy in the decoder or a factory screw up?

Probably best to start a new thread with these questions rather than revive an old thread... but anyway, that decoder is not 100%... One way to review ECL codes is to review the Authentication Library Volume One from the NCRS, titled "GM Issued 1963-1967 Corvette Trim Tags." It is available at your NCRS store! In this data on page 60 under 1967 Trim Codes and Exception letters I found for Schedule #1: 455 - White/Black Vinyl Interior that the ECL code BE is listed with NO inclusions but THREE exclusions - A31, A82 and C07. My copy of this book is First Edition Winder 2004. Hope that helps
