Default Oil filter cross reference

My 3855961 BB arrived here with a NAPA 1515 spin-on oil filter on it , so I presume it has been converted at some stage, but because NAPA parts are not available in Ozzy, I wonder if anyone could help me with a cross reference to AC Delco or Ryco please? I've already tried google & yahoo with no joy.

Thanks,
Peter

I checked NAPA online and did not find a 1515 in any of their different series of oil filters.

Typically, the conversions used later model AC (GM) filters. Recommend you take it off and compare the diameter and the threads to see what matches. No rocket science here, just something that doesn't leak and filters the oil.

Further info from the below linked cross ref.:

http://www.aloha34.com/information/oilfiltertable.pdf

It shows that a NAPA 1515 = a CM 25-420

A CM 25-420 = a Wix 51515
and a Puralator PER1
and a Fram HP1

And is 6-1/4" long, has a thread of 3/4" with 16 TPI (threads per inch), and an "O" ring dia. of 2-5/8"

Thanks for all that Plasticman, I had already found the 1515 on the Napa website with all the dimensions, but it was the conversion to another brand I was fixated on. With your help & direction I have used the measurements in the Ryco Aust. website & found a match.

Thanks again for your help.
