Default Repop jack

A couple of months ago I bought a repop jack for my 64. I finally desided to unpack it and install it in the car. A warning was included that it shouldn't be used to jack the car. It's the same as the original. I don't plan to use it but I did use the original jacks many years ago. Is the manufacturer just protecting themselves or is there something I missed.

sounds like a disclaimer to me. there are so many labels required on products after the McDonalds coffee burn type litigation you hardly even need to paint anything anymore.

Thanks to the lawyers, EVERYTHING has warning labels now; a local TV station ran a contest last week for viewers to send in the "silliest warning labels" they came across. Two they showed last night - a fireplace gas log set that said "Warning - Fire Danger", and a box of birthday cake candles that said "Warning - not to be inserted in body cavities"
