C-1 soft top adjustment???
What is the key to adjusting a convertible top frame for proper fit on a 62 Corvette? Mine fits OK in the rear, but the front won't quite get to the windshield to latch it.
Thanks,
Rex

Yes, it's been down thru the winter months, but the car was stored in a heated garage.

Hook all 4 corners up then latch the back two clamps and go to the front and close those...If its still hard to hook up a hair dryer may help take out the wrinkles and soften the material. ..

You violated the age old rule:
NEVER leave a convertible top down for any length of time. No more than a day or two.
Always put it back up and latch it.
Learned this when I had my first convertible, a 63 Nova back in 65 or so.

Chuck,
One of the many reasons I went with a Stayfast cloth top on the 62. Can leave it down almost forever, and it still comes back up with the same "fit".
Too bad that "fit" on a C1 has never been great to begin with.
