Default 1962 Speedometer

I was going to try and restore the speedometer myself using new parts from the vendors but how do you finish the black face of the speedometer (black with white hash marks). I though there might be a decal you lay over the face but I have not seen anything like that for sale.
Thanks

I saw a listing on ebay for www.whitegauges.net touting their wares. Upon checking it out I found they do restorations, of gauges, as well as just sell white faces for your gauges. Hopefully they can help you out. Lar

Instrument faces are silk-screened by instrument restoration specialists, which is not something you can generate at home and have it look correct. If you are replacing any of the magnetized components (speed cup, etc.), the assembly has to be re-calibrated by gaussing/de-gaussing, and you can't do that at home either. That's why most folks send speedo and tach heads out to specialists who have the necessary parts and calibration equipment.
