Default shielding with dual 4s

I was wondering if the C2 ignition shielding will fit with dual quads and vacuum advance. The C1 fits but the vacuum advance hits the coil with the stock bracket.

You can play around with the indexing on a vacuum distrib to make it fit under the C1 shield without hitting anything....mine doesn't.

That means the distrib is installed in a non-original position and the rotor and timing adjusted to optimize the vacuum can's position under the shielding. I would assume a C2 would work the same way..

I jockeyed it around and it doesn't seem to want to. I might be able to do something if I run the vacuum advance out the driver side. Which side does your vacuum can run to?

Here is what I did to fit a vacuum advance distributor under the shielding on my 61.

Plaidside beat me in posting a picture...his setup is in an identical position to what I am running! But here is another view anyway...the vacuum can is barely visible at the very top of the pic...
