Default MidYear Trans Mount Thickness

I'm putting my 67's rear motor mount, shifter bracket ,exhaust hangers etc. back together and find that the pipes go through the cross member very high (touching)! The higher mount raises the trans/exhaust bracket. It's a new motor mount and I suspect that it is at least 1/8" higher than it should be. It really can't be anything else??? Is there a difference between Manufactures? Right side has some clearance but left pipe is against the crossmember. It's supposed to be a 67 trans mount ... I think the part is common to C1 3 speeds & Camaros etc?

I measured the OLD (which I think maybe orig) and it was 1 3/4.

Here is the one that came with Tremec 5-speed kit

You aren't dreaming, John. Every replacement trans mount I've measured lately has been too tall. Although purchased through NAPA, all have been manufactured overseas, in India, if I recall correctly.

Oh, just remembered another interesting twist.... the threads in the mounts were metric. Of course, nothing on the box brought that to my attention prior to my trying to thread SAE bolts in.

I must have the one you need, since I had to put a .25inch shim under mine.
